After my successful AC repair, I took my car back to Nick for an alternator replacement and engine diagnosis. He was, as always, knowledgeable and straightforward, and I was highly satisfied with his report. The cost was quite reasonable, and his assessment of the situation was spot-on. I will soon be taking my other car to Carolina Auto Service for work, I will drop my car off with confidence in the outcome.

Had a great experience with Carolina Auto Service. Nick and the team were awesome to work with. My A/C had an intermittent issue that was driving me crazy, and they took the time to actually diagnose it instead of just throwing parts at it. They kept me updated, explained what they found, and never made me feel like I was being upsold. The replacement of my A/C compressor was done within the day and with the heat index over 100Β°, my car is blowing ice cold again. Most importantly, they treated me with respect. You can tell they genuinely care about doing good work and taking care of people. Thanks again, Nick and the whole crew! Will bring my other cars by for repairs!

Very good diagnostic technicians. Clean and enviting waiting area. Super friendly staff. Fast, functional and family owned facility. Come check them out! little gem in the automotive world. They did a vehicle inspection on our car with pictures/ discriptions and even brought me out to the vehicle and showed me the condition of the underside of my vehicle. They were not trying to hide things or upsell me on things I dont need. Strait to the point and solid prices. Will be back for any auto repair needs.

Buyer Be Aware: I brought my 2017 Chevrolet Silverado to Carolina Auto Service in February for a lifter issue and ultimately spent over $7,600 on repairs. During the process, I was advised by management to proceed with an AFM/DOD delete as part of the repair strategy. Based on that recommendation, I approved and paid an additional $1,890 for the parts and labor associated with the AFM/DOD delete. Unfortunately, the original lifter issue was never resolved. The truck continued to experience serious drivability problems, including rough running, stalling, and ultimately becoming inoperable. The vehicle had to be returned multiple times and towed on more than one occasion. What is most frustrating is that the additional expense of the AFM/DOD delete provided no benefit in my case. After spending thousands of dollars on repairs and following the recommendations provided by management, I ultimately had to seek help elsewhere and was later advised that the engine required replacement. The financial impact extended beyond the original repair bill and included towing costs, additional diagnostic expenses, lost time, and four months without a vehicle. In addition, features that worked p

Huge thanks to Nick and the team at Carolina Auto Service for stepping in and helping me with my car. This was actually a second opinion/next step after another shop wasn’t able or willing to complete the work they had started, and I’m really glad I came here. Nick took the time to properly diagnose the issue and, more importantly, explained everything clearly and shared helpful insight from his expertise. It made a stressful situation much easier to understand and deal with. What stood out most was the honesty and willingness to educate rather than just rush through the repair. I left feeling informed and confident about the next steps. Highly recommend this shop if you’re looking for transparent, knowledgeable, and customer-focused service.
